It is vitally important that children and animals get to know each other. They are the weakest, they are in our hands, they need our care and our love. We are talking about our future, their future and their survival.
Children are natural and unpretentious, they are curious, eager to learn and open. Children see animals as they see themselves and can learn a lot from them.
Given that they look for and need viable examples, we have to demonstrate to them how communal living and a culture of cooperation functions. The formative years before a child becomes an adult are the most influential of his/her whole life.
